What will happen during the workshop?
🌊 Introduction to watercolor – We begin with a short overview of watercolor painting: how water and pigment interact, what materials work best, and how watercolor differs from other painting techniques.
🎨 Learning the basic techniques – Through simple guided exercises, we practice essential watercolor methods such as controlling water and pigment, creating soft color gradients, layering washes, and working with transparency.
🧰 Medium Playground – experimenting with different watercolor tools
We will try different watercolor mediums to understand how each one behaves.
🌸 Creating your final watercolor piece – choose from a selection of prepared templates or illustrations and paint your own artwork using the techniques practiced during the workshop. Throughout the process, you’ll receive guidance on color use, layering, and brushwork.
