🧶 Crochet Basics Workshop – Learn the Foundations of the Art of Crochet! ✨

Have you always been curious about crochet but never knew where to start? Or maybe you’ve already tried it, but you’d love a solid foundation to build on with confidence? This workshop is for you! In a warm, supportive environment, you’ll learn the essential crochet techniques, get to know the tools, and go home with a small swatch you’ve crocheted yourself.

✨ What We’ll Do

📜 A brief history of crochet – A quick overview of where crochet comes from and how it became a beloved modern craft.
🧰 Tool introduction – Meet the most important tools: cotton yarn, crochet hooks, and a few additional accessories. You’ll learn what they’re used for and how to choose the right tools as a beginner.
📚 Reading patterns – We’ll walk through how to interpret basic crochet instructions and symbols.
🧵 Making your first slip knot and foundation chain – Learn how every crochet project begins.

🔁 Practicing the basic stitches – On a small swatch (square or coaster), we’ll practice all the fundamental techniques.

All at a relaxed pace, with plenty of hands-on practice and personal guidance.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll confidently hold a crochet hook, create basic stitches, read simple patterns, and understand the logic behind crochet — the foundation you need to later create bags, tops, blankets, amigurumi, or wearable pieces.
