In a warm, supportive environment, you'll learn the essential knitting techniques, get to know the tools, and go home with a small swatch you’ve knitted yourself.

✨ What We’ll Do

📜 A brief history of knitting – A quick overview of where knitting comes from and how it became a beloved modern craft.
🧰 Tool introduction – Meet the most important tools: cotton yarn, straight needles, and a few additional accessories. You’ll learn what they’re used for and how to choose the right tools as a beginner.
📚 Reading patterns – We’ll walk through how to interpret basic knitting instructions.
🧵 Casting on – Learn two essential methods: single cast-on and longtail cast-on.
🔁 Practicing the basic stitches – On a small swatch (square or coaster), we’ll practice: knit stitch, purl stitch, garter stitch, stockinette stitch

All at a relaxed pace, with plenty of hands-on practice and personal guidance.
